Information regarding the Three Rivers Little League player financial aid program
Introduction
Three Rivers Little League firmly believes that each child who wishes to play baseball or softball should be able to do so regardless of skill, gender, or financial circumstances. Our league will not deny any child a chance to play baseball or softball due to a financial hardship.
To aid parents who may need assistance with registration fees, Three Rivers Little League financial aid program covers the following areas:
Full financial aid that cover all registration fees
Partial financial aid that cover a portion of the registration fees
Three Rivers Eligibility Requirements
Those seeking financial aid must explain the nature of the hardship and/or provide documentation supporting the request.
Specifically, to be eligible for financial aid, the following information must be provided to Three Rivers Little League
A detailed explanation of the financial hardship with supporting documentationsuchasan approved Free or Reduced Lunch Application approved by your child's school.
Three Rivers Little League registration form containing all of the player's information (medical, address, etc)
Proof of residency - indicating that the player(s) reside(s) within Eagle, Garfield or Pitkin Counties.
Proof of age - indicating that the player(s) meet(s) Little League requirements in order to play in the Three Rivers Little League.
What Every Parent and/or Guardian Should Know About the Financial Aid Process
Before submitting a financial aid request form to Three Rivers Little League, parents and/or guardians should understand the following:
The financial aid eligibility requirements
The financial aid review period turnaround time (up to 7 days)
Forms need to be completely filled out (detailed instructions are included with the form)

How to Apply for Financial Aid
The financial aid request process is very straightforward. To ensure proper due diligence, every financial aid request is examined and assessed on its own merit.
Once the financial aid form has been submitted, the Three Rivers Little League financial aid coordinator will review the request
The financial aid review period can take up to 7 days to complete
Within 5 Days: The TRLL financial aid coordinator will respond indicating the financial aid request has been received, ask questions, and/or ask for additional documentation
Within 7 Days: The TRLL financial aid coordinator will respond via e-mail with a decision on the financial aid request
Terms and Conditions
If the financial aid request is approved, the following terms and conditions will apply:
The financial aid covers the registration fees only for one season in all or in part.
Parent or legal guardian agrees to endeavor to assist their player’s team and local area with any volunteer opportunities that may arise. This includes, but is not limited to; coaching, team parent duties, raffle coordination, TRLL fundraising events, and All Stars events.
The player must meet all residence and proof age requirements (all required documents must be verified either on certification day or prior to the skills evaluations - refer to the League Calendar for dates).
A registration form must be completed for the player - providing essential details including address, contact information and medical authorization.
